Philips Panels
What are the differences between the Philips panels?
FlexBlend: Philips FlexBlend panels are suitable for use in offices, corridors and ancillary rooms, education, healthcare and retail environments. You should not use Philips FlexBlend panels in industrial halls, basements or damp rooms. The products are only subject to protection class IPX0. Therefore, they are not protected against water. Depending on the model, the panels have a UGR value of <19 (for workplaces, e.g. in the office, school or university) or <25 (for corridors and stairwells). The FlexBlend range has a wide variety of panels: both insertable and pendant luminaires for hanging. In addition, the products are available in three housing colours (white, silver or black) and with cold or warm white colour temperature. They are all characterised by a good colour rendering index of Ra ≥ 90.
PowerBalance: PowerBalance panels from Philips are available in two sizes (120x30cm and 60x60cm). The Philips PowerBalance panels have a UGR value of <16 and can therefore be used particularly well for technical drawing work (for example in an architect's office). In terms of colour temperature, you can choose between a pleasant warm white with 3,000 Kelvin or a neutral cool white with 4,000 Kelvin. A special advantage of the PowerBalance product line: all panels are equipped with a dimming function.
TrueLine: The TrueLine led panels from Philips are used for general and task lighting for offices - almost all products are glare-free and have a UGR value <19. As an additional feature, the TrueLine panels have a practical dimming function. You can choose between recessed and surface-mounted luminaires (classic panels) as well as suspended pendant luminaires. In addition, you can select panels with warm or cool white light colour within the TrueLine model range - depending on the application area and use. Our TrueLine led panels from Philips also score with a 5-year all-in guarantee, the highest colour rendering level (90-99 Ra), and long service life of up to 50,000 hours. With a lighting duration of 60 hours per week, for example, the panels provide high-quality, flicker-free light for up to 16 years.
SlimBlend: The Philips SlimBlend led panels in our range are available in two sizes (60x60cm and 120x30cm). They are all characterized by the complete absence of glare (thanks to UGR <19) and can therefore be ideally used in office buildings as well as educational institutions. In addition, the Philips SlimBlend panels always come with a cool white light colour (4,000 Kelvin). In addition, the products score with a dimming function, a 5-year all-in guarantee, and a good colour rendering of 80-89 Ra. When installing the panels, you should make sure that they cannot get water on them, because the SlimBlend products only have an IP value of 40 and are thus only protected from dust. The beam angle of 120° is ideal for general lighting.
Ledinaire: In our range, you will find some Philip LED panels from the Ledinaire model series. These are square and come with dimensions 60x60cm. The Philips Ledinaire panels are placed in grid ceilings and are therefore flush with the ceiling. They are available in warm or cool white light colour. You can also choose from UGR values <19 (for offices and educational facilities) or <22 (for general lighting). Important: The panels from the Ledinaire product line are not dimmable! Like the SlimBlend products, they are characterized by good colour rendering and a 120° beam angle.
CoreLine: Philips CoreLine led panels can be used in offices, reception and meeting areas, retail and wholesale, hotels, healthcare, showrooms, corridors, and ancillary rooms. The areas of application are very diverse; depending on the selection, you can also choose the appropriate colour temperature. The Philips Coreline panels are available in warm and cool white as well as with dim-to-warm function. Just as different as the colour temperature are the available sizes, the mounting method, and the UGR values (use our filter function to see suitable panels for your project). The CoreLine model range offers suitable led panels for almost every application thanks to its large product selection.
