COB LED strips
With our COB LED strips, you create a beautiful and even line of light without shadows. This makes these light strips perfect for under (kitchen) cabinets, as cove lighting or for creating sleek light accents. In our range, these light strips have at least 320 LEDs per metre, providing illumination in one light colour only: 2700K, 3000K, 4000K or 6500K. If you want to enjoy these lights for as long as possible, we recommend installing the COB LED strips with our aluminium profiles. These ensure that your light strips are cooled down, making them last longer. A COB LED can be used in dry or humid areas, but keep in mind that an IP65 variant, for example, is no longer waterproof if you cut it off at a cutting line. Two things are important when installing: 1. Use an LED driver to convert 230V AC mains power to 24V DC (for 24V COB LED strips). 2. Place a controller between the light strip and driver if you want to be able to adjust the light source with an app or a remote control.

The colour code is a combination of colour rendering (CRI) and light colour (Kelvin). The first number indicates the colour rendering (1 = very poor colour rendering, 9 = maximum colour fastness). The second and third number contains the light colour. Example: the colour code 830 consists of good colour rendering (8) and warm white light (3000K).
The IP value indicates the degree of protection against the ingress of moisture and dust. The 1st digit (0 = not protected until 6 = completely dustproof) indicates the protection against dust. The 2nd digit (0 = not protected until 8 = protected against immersion) indicates the protection against water. Products with an IP44 rating are splashproof and products with an IP65 rating or higher are (completely) dustproof and waterproof.
