T5 tubes have a G5 fitting and a diameter of 21mm. The longer lifetime with a warranty, lower energy consumption and smart beam angle of 180º are the most important specifications to switch to T5 LED tube lights. Colour of tubes range from warm white light to daylight. Placing of a T5 LED tube is easy, and the same as placing a fluorescent tube.

How much more efficient is a T5 LED tube than a regular T5 tube?
LED lighting is considerably more energy efficient! You can save up to 70% in energy costs with T5 LED lighting, compared with a conventional T5 tube. Why is that? In the first place because LED fluorescent tubes use less power. That also explains the high energy savings. A simple example is a 150cm long T5 fluorescent tube of 37 Watts, which replaces a conventional T5 fluorescent tube of 80 Watts in the same length. The difference between the two wattages is considerable! With LED you are assured of lower energy costs from day one! Would you like to buy an LED T5 tube online? For which luminaires are T5 LED fluorescent tubes suitable?
T5 LED lighting is practically suitable for all electronic (HF) fittings that already contain T5 lighting or have a suitable connection (G5) for T5 LED tubes. This applies to both open and closed fixtures for this category of LED fluorescent tubes. How do you know for sure that it is a T5 LED tube? This is always stated on the LED tube itself, while you can also look at the fitting. The pins of T5 LED tubes are 5mm long and stick out a bit further, compared to T8 LED lighting, which has a wider diameter (26mm). A T5 fluorescent lamp has a diameter of16mm.
How long does a T5 fluorescent tube last?
Most LED T5 tubes have a lifespan of over 50,000 hours. That is considerably more than the average 15.000 hours of conventional fluorescent lighting. This means that thanks to the purchase of LED fluorescent lighting you spend less on replacement and maintenance. After all, the lifespan is higher, so the LED tube can be left for a longer period. Another advantage is that LED fluorescent lighting is flicker-free, and therefore does not flicker when it is started up. You will therefore not experience any inconvenience such as eye strain or headaches.
