LED strips RGBW
Illuminate colourful and flexible with our LED strips RGBW. These light sources can be set in all colours of the rainbow or with a fixed white tint / range of Kelvin values (tunable white). This allows you to match your lighting to the activity taking place in the space at that moment or the vibe at hand. But how does this actually work? There are yellow and/or orange LEDs placed on the light strip to emit warm white or cool white light. In addition, there are ‘silver’ chips that provide coloured light (RGB). These light up depending on the light colour setting that you choose. Please note that you can only manage our LED strips RGBW with an app or remote control if you use a controller that supports RGB(W) and tunable white! Tape your light strips in place or use our aluminium profiles when installing, and you're ready for a feast of light both indoors (IP20) and outdoors (IP65).
The colour code is a combination of colour rendering (CRI) and light colour (Kelvin). The first number indicates the colour rendering (1 = very poor colour rendering, 9 = maximum colour fastness). The second and third number contains the light colour. Example: the colour code 830 consists of good colour rendering (8) and warm white light (3000K).
The IP value indicates the degree of protection against the ingress of moisture and dust. The 1st digit (0 = not protected until 6 = completely dustproof) indicates the protection against dust. The 2nd digit (0 = not protected until 8 = protected against immersion) indicates the protection against water. Products with an IP44 rating are splashproof and products with an IP65 rating or higher are (completely) dustproof and waterproof.
