Characteristics
The Osram Starter St172 4-22W 230V Safety SERIE enable the fluorescent tubes T5, T8 and T12 to function on conventional ballast. They can be easily installed and allow a lifetime increase of your tubes up to 25%. This is the safest existing version. They are adapted for tubes from 4W to 22W for an individual use at 230V. You can use them for ambient temperature from -20 to +80 degree Celsius.
Application
Osram Starter St172 4-22W 230V Safety SERIE Starters are used when your installation is done with conventional ballast. If you have an electronic bballast, so you won't need a starter.
