The colour code is a combination of colour rendering (CRI) and light colour (Kelvin). The first number indicates the colour rendering (1 = very poor colour rendering, 9 = maximum colour fastness). The second and third number contains the light colour. Example: the colour code 830 consists of good colour rendering (8) and warm white light (3000K).
Every bulb or fixture has an energy efficiency class A to G. Energy label A is the most efficient and G the least. LED lighting is the most sustainable lighting technique. Even if a LED bulb is rated E or lower, they still save 70% of energy compared to conventional lighting with the same energy label. Why is it the same label then? Philips TL5 HE (MASTER) - By optimising the light output at 35°C, the TL5 HE tubes have a higher efficiency than conventional 26 mm fluorescent lamps. All Philips TL5 High-Efficiency tubes require an electronic ballast. The length of the products depends on their wattage. The average life is 24,000 hours. These Philips T5 fluorescent tubes are also dimmable.
Philips TL-Mini Super 80 (MASTER) - The Philips TL Mini Super 80 is perfect for small spaces where a higher than normal colour rendering is required. They are mainly used in stairwells and condos. But the tubes can also be used as lighting for mirrors or cabinets.
Philips TL Mini - you have only little space in the lighting? The Philips TL Mini are characterised by its small dimensions. Moreover, the T5 fluorescent tubes have a diameter of 16 mm and are equipped with a G5 base.
Philips Actinic BL - The Philips Actinic BL are the ideal choice for electronic insect killers. They have an optimised spectrum that matches the eye sensitivity of the housefly. This means that the T5 tubes can easily attract insects. They also have practically no UV-B component and are therefore absolutely safe.
Philips TL5 HO 90 De Luxe (MASTER) - The Philips TL5 High Output 90 De Luxe reproduce the colours of the illuminated objects very realistically, which is why they are recommended for retail use. You can use these fluorescent tubes with an electronic ballast. The Philips TL5 High Output 90 De Luxe series is available in the colours 940, 950, and 965. The life of the tubes is approx. 24,000 hours.
Philips TL5 HO Eco (MASTER) - If you are looking for a replacement for a standard TL5 tube or TL5 High Output, the Philips TL5 HO Eco (MASTER) is ideal for you. With this fluorescent tube, you enjoy the advantages of a High Output tube and additionally save 10% of energy compared to the conventional TL5 High Output. The energy saving is only achieved by using an electronic ballast. In addition, the long service life of 30,000 hours and constant light output over the entire service life is convincing.
Philips TL5 HO Secura (MASTER) - The Philips TL5 High Output Secura has a special plastic coating that protects against splinters in case of lamp breakage. This makes them particularly suitable for use in the food industry and distribution. You can recognise the product line by the blue ring at the end of the tube. The Philips T5 tubes from the High Output Secura range meet HACCP & ISO 22000 standards.
Philips TL5 HE Eco (MASTER) - Energy efficient and light intensive, this is how the Philips T5 High-Efficiency Eco fluorescent tubes can be described. The Eco version of the classic TL5 HE tubes from Philips consumes 10% less energy and has a long life of 25,000 hours. It also offers a higher lumen count than the standard model and therefore more intense light. The HE Eco fluorescent tubes require a ballast. If you choose a conventional ballast, a starter is also required. If you use an electronic ballast, no starter is necessary.
Philips TL5 HO Xtra (MASTER) - The lifetime of the Philips TL5 High Output Xtra fluorescent tubes is around 45,000 hours and makes the tubes a worthy replacement for standard TL5 High Output lamps. The long life makes the lamps perfect for environments where frequent lamp replacement is too difficult or expensive.
Philips Black Light Blue TL Mini - The Philips Black Light TL Mini are low-pressure mercury fluorescent tubes. They have an inner coating of fluorescent powder. This emits UV radiation. The tubes are available in two different lengths.
Philips TUV TL-mini - The tubes of the TUV TL-mini product range emit ultraviolet light. This has a disinfecting effect and can therefore be used to combat bacteria and algae. Note: UV light is harmful to the skin as well as to the eyes and should therefore not be used for lighting.
