How do I install a LED tube?

The installation of LED TL tubes is very easy. All LED tubes are ‘plug and play’, this means that you can easily install them yourself and replace them 1 to 1 with your current TL tubes. If you are in doubt whether you are authorized to do so, always contact a certified installer. Always follow the rules for installing electrical devices.

Replacing a TL tube for a LED TL tube if easy, just follow these 4 steps:

• Step 1.
  Make sure that the power is switched off. Before you replace a lamp the power must be switched off. For extra safety, you can convert the switch in the meter cupboard.
  
  
• Step 2.
  Turn the old fluorescent tube a quarter turn, this way the TL tube comes loose from the fixture and you can remove it.
  
  
• Step 3.
  Take the new LED tube and push the lamp straight into the lamp feet of the fixture. Turn it again a quarter turn until you feel the lamp is in place.
  
  
• Step 4.
  Turn the power back on and start saving energy and money immediately.
