The Philips TL5 High Output Eco are highly efficient fluorescent tubes, with a high light output but 10% lower energy consumption than standard HO TL5 tubes. The TL5 HO Eco is only suitable for use with an electronic ballasts and is available in 20W, 45W, 50W and 79W. These tubes have a G5 socket fitting and diameter of 16mm.

The Philips TL5 High Output Eco can be used to replace the following Philips TL5 High Output fluorescent tubes.

• TL5 HO Eco 20W = 24W TL5 High Output
• TL5 HO Eco 45W = 49W TL5 High Output
• TL5 HO Eco 50W = 54W TL5 High Output
• TL5 HO Eco 73W = 80W TL5 High Output

Use

Due to their low energy consumption but high light output, the Philips TL5 High Output Eco is ideal for use in high ceilings and industrial areas. These tubes have a long lifetime of 25,000 hours, which makes replacements less frequent. They also have a good colour rendering of 80-89Ra, meaning colours will appear as they should in the light.
