Colour rendering is also known as Colour Rendering Index (CRI) and indicates the extent to which a light source reproduces colours, compared to the actual colours in daylight. Products with a good (80-89 Ra) or excellent (90-99 Ra) colour rendering show minimal deviations in the colour spectrum.

The colour control type tells you in which way you can regulate the colour of the light. You have the following options:
1. Single colour: This light has one fixed light colour. You cannot change it.
2. CCT: You choose from 2 or 3 fixed colours via a switch, such as warm white or cool white.
3. Tunable white: The white light can take any values in the listed Kelvin scale, for instance 2200K up to 6500K.
4. Dim to warm: Dimming makes the light warmer (more yellow). The more you dim, the warmer the colour.
5. RGB: You can set the light to almost any colour. From red to blue, you fill it in completely as you wish.

The number of lumens (lm) is the light output of a light source. The higher the number of lumens, the more light the light source emits. The wattage and the number of lumens are not connected to each other. An LED lamp with a low wattage can have a higher number of lumens than a conventional lamp with a high wattage.

A ballast can be seen as an energy regulator that switches on the lighting. Is there a starter in the fixture? Then this is a conventional ballast (EM). Suitable for fixtures with conventional ballast
This Osram LED tube is suitable for fixtures that have a conventional ballast or it can be connected directly to the mains. If you're installing it in a fixture, you'll need to replace the existing starter with the LED starter that comes included with the tube.
Energy-efficient replacement
This Osram SubstiTUBE Connected Advance Ultra Output LED tube is 150 cm long and has G13 caps. It's an ideal replacement for a conventional T8 fluorescent tube because it uses just 24 watts instead of 58 watts and that means savings in energy bills.
Long lifespan
A lifespan of 50,000 hours means that this LED tube lasts around 5 times longer than a fluorescent tube. It's durable too as it benefits from glass technology that prevents it from bending.
Advance Ultra Output
The Advance Ultra Output LED tubes have the highest light output of all Osram's LED tubes. This 150 cm-long tube outputs 3600 lumens! That's why installing these tubes at a minimum height of 4 metres is recommended.
Connected technology
Osram's Connected technology turns this LED tube into a smart one that can work together with up to 199 more tubes and sensors! Everything can then be controlled wirelessly using special Osram sensors that can switch all of the lights on and off automatically. That helps to save even more energy, of course.
Areas of application
The Osram Connected LED tubes are ideal for areas that have more than one entrance, like parking garages, for example. They're also suitable for areas like hallways and stairways in buildings.
Daylight - 6500K
This tube has a colour temperature of 6500K which is similar to daylight. It's suitable, therefore, for environments where lots of light is needed.
