Noxion LED dimmer switch
The Noxion LED Dimmer switch is perfect for new installations as well as existing ones. It's compatible with all phase-cut dimmable light sources.
Phase-cut dimmer (leading edge & trailing edge)
A phase-cut dimmer works by cutting the voltage that reaches the light in order to dim it. This can be done in one of two ways:
- Leading Edge (forward phase cut) - the first half of the voltage waveform is cut off
- Trailing Edge (reverse phase cut) - the second half of the voltage waveform is cut off
The Noxion LED dimmer has a switch that allows you to select either Leading Edge or Trailing Edge phase-cut dimming depending on your requirements.
Trailing Edge phase cutting offers better performance and allows for soft starts that ensure the lifespan of bulbs are not diminished.
Works from 0W to 150W with LED
This dimmer switch works with wattages from 0 to 150 with LED bulbs. When used with halogen or incandescent bulbs, the maximum wattage is 300!
Safety features
For extra safety, the Noxion LED dimmer has built-in protection against short circuits, overloads and extreme temperatures.
2-wire connection
The Noxion LED Dimmer connects to switched live and live wires. It's recommended that the installation of the dimmer switch on a mains power supply (230V) is done by a qualified electrician.
Suitable for different cover plates
The Noxion LED dimmer is compatible with lots of different cover plates so that you can choose the one you like best.
