The technology indicates the operating base of a light source. The most well-known and energy-efficient example is LED. Other techniques include Halogen, gas discharge, TL (fluorescent) and the light bulb.

This indicates which wattage of your old/conventional lighting is replaced by this LED product.
|
Replaces (Watt) | 2x18 |
|
i
The wattage indicates how much energy a light source consumes. With LED lighting, the wattage is considerably lower than with conventional lighting. LED lamps with a higher wattage generally also have a higher light intensity (number of lumens).

Lighting with a voltage of 220-240 Volt can be connected directly to the mains. Lighting with a different mains voltage (12 Volt and 24 Volt) requires an (electronic) transformer.

When you dim lights, the full power does not have to be used. You therefore save extra on energy costs. Dimmable lamps can also be used to create an extra cosy atmosphere. Keep in mind that you need a LED dimmer to dim LED lights.

The colour code is a combination of colour rendering (CRI) and light colour (Kelvin). The first number indicates the colour rendering (1 = very poor colour rendering, 9 = maximum colour fastness). The second and third number contains the light colour. Example: the colour code 830 consists of good colour rendering (8) and warm white light (3000K). |

Colour rendering is also known as Colour Rendering Index (CRI) and indicates the extent to which a light source reproduces colours, compared to the actual colours in daylight. Products with a good (80-89 Ra) or excellent (90-99 Ra) colour rendering show minimal deviations in the colour spectrum.
|
Colour Rendering (Ra) | 80-89 |

The light color indicates the color of the light emitted: white, colored, or UV. For many products in our assortment, the light is white, available in a range from very warm white to daylight white (expressed in Kelvin). With colored light, you have two options: 1. A single fixed color, such as red or green. 2. RGBW, which means you can adjust the light color at any time: white or colored.
|
Colour of Light | White |
|
i
The colour control type tells you in which way you can regulate the colour of the light. You have the following options:
1. Single colour: This light has one fixed light colour. You cannot change it.
2. CCT: You choose from 2 or 3 fixed colours via a switch, such as warm white or cool white.
3. Tunable white: The white light can take any values in the listed Kelvin scale, for instance 2200K up to 6500K.
4. Dim to warm: Dimming makes the light warmer (more yellow). The more you dim, the warmer the colour.
5. RGB: You can set the light to almost any colour. From red to blue, you fill it in completely as you wish.
By choosing your preferred light colour options, you are one step closer to the right light product.

The number of lumens (lm) is the light output of a light source. The higher the number of lumens, the more light the light source emits. The wattage and the number of lumens are not connected to each other. An LED lamp with a low wattage can have a higher number of lumens than a conventional lamp with a high wattage.
|
Luminous Flux (Lumen) | 1150 |
|
i
The Luminous Efficacy (lm/W) indicates how efficiently a light source uses energy. We divide the number of lumens by the wattage. The higher the number, the more efficient a product is in terms of energy consumption. LED lighting has a considerably higher lumen/Watt ratio than conventional lighting.
|
Lumen per watt | 88.5 |

A fixture with a tiltable design makes it possible to direct the lighting specifically at an object or surface. This can play a particularly important role in shops (putting a new collection in the spotlight) or galleries (accentuating works of art). It can also influence the purchasing behaviour or interpretation of visitors.

| Optical Cover | Opal | |

i
The power factor indicates how efficiently a luminaire uses electricity. The rule is: the higher the power factor, the more efficient the power consumption. A product with a high power factor (0.85 - 0.95) is also the safest. This is because the amount of unnecessary power consumption (blind current) is very limited.
|
Power factor | >0.90 |

The IP value indicates the degree of protection against the ingress of moisture and dust. The 1st digit (0 = not protected until 6 = completely dustproof) indicates the protection against dust. The 2nd digit (0 = not protected until 8 = protected against immersion) indicates the protection against water. Products with an IP44 rating are splashproof and products with an IP65 rating or higher are (completely) dustproof and waterproof. |

The impact protection value (IK) stands for impact resistance and protection against vandalism. This is expressed in combination with 2 digits (IK00 - IK10). Products with IK00 are not protected against resistance. Products with IK10 offer resistance to shocks of 20 Joule and are also vandal-proof. |

The colour of the fixture can play a major role in the interior design of a room. You can opt for a neutral white design or a darker colour, such as black or silver, to make the light source stand out or even turn it into a decorative feature on its own.

60% energy saving
With this LED-integrated fixture it’s possible to reach energy savings of up to 60% compared to fixtures with CFL-bulbs. This Noxion wall light replaces CFL-fixtures with 2x18W. This fixture only uses 13W. This means you can save 23W by only switching one fixture to LED. The fixture has energy label A+.
Lifespan: 35.000 hours
CFL-bulbs has a lifespan of around 20.000 hours. This products last 35.000 hours. If we count that the light is on for 12 hours per day five days per week, it’s 60 hours per week, and 3120 hours per year. If we divide the lifetime with the expected number of hours per week, we get the expected lifetime in years, in this case 10 years.
Light output: 1150 lumen
The matt-opal diffuser has a light transmittance of 80% for maximum visual comfort. Compared to CFL-bulbs you need to choose your LED-light depending on the amount of lumen to get the right amount of light. Check how many lumen your old fixture had to get an indication of how many lumen you need. This fixture has 1150 lumen.
Modern and durable design
Noxion wall and ceiling lamps blends in very well with the surroundings. Their modern design make them perfect to integrate in offices, apartment complexes and entrances. The fixture is impact resistant (IK10), dust and waterproof (IP66) which make them an ideal light solution for wet or dusty environments.
Color temperature
This fixture has a colour temperature of 4000K, which is a cool white light. This is the most used color temperature in offices, schools etc.

Tips for extra energy saving: Choose a fixture with sensor if you want to further decrease your overall operation cost. A fixture with a twiligth switch turns the light on when insufficent daylight is discovered. Find your wall and ceiling fixtures with sensors here.
