The technology indicates the operating base of a light source. The most well-known and energy-efficient example is LED. Other techniques include Halogen, gas discharge, TL (fluorescent) and the light bulb.

The wattage indicates how much energy a light source consumes. With LED lighting, the wattage is considerably lower than with conventional lighting. LED lamps with a higher wattage generally also have a higher light intensity (number of lumens).

Lighting with a voltage of 220-240 Volt can be connected directly to the mains. Lighting with a different mains voltage (12 Volt and 24 Volt) requires an (electronic) transformer.

Dimmable bulbs work in combination with a dimmer switch and allow you to determine the desired light output. Dimming also provides energy saving potential because less power is required when the lamp is producing less light.

The colour code is a combination of colour rendering (CRI) and light colour (Kelvin). The first number indicates the colour rendering (1 = very poor colour rendering, 9 = maximum colour fastness). The second and third number contains the light colour. Example: the colour code 830 consists of good colour rendering (8) and warm white light (3000K). |
Colour Code | 827 Extra Warm White, 840 Cool White |

Colour rendering is also known as Colour Rendering Index (CRI) and indicates the extent to which a light source reproduces colours, compared to the actual colours in daylight. Products with a good (80-89 Ra) or excellent (90-99 Ra) colour rendering show minimal deviations in the colour spectrum.
|
Colour Rendering (Ra) | 80-89 |

The light color indicates the color of the light emitted: white, colored, or UV. For many products in our assortment, the light is white, available in a range from very warm white to daylight white (expressed in Kelvin). With colored light, you have two options: 1. A single fixed color, such as red or green. 2. RGBW, which means you can adjust the light color at any time: white or colored.
|

The colour control type tells you in which way you can regulate the colour of the light. You have the following options:
1. Single colour: This light has one fixed light colour. You cannot change it.
2. CCT: You choose from 2 or 3 fixed colours via a switch, such as warm white or cool white.
3. Tunable white: The white light can take any values in the listed Kelvin scale, for instance 2200K up to 6500K.
4. Dim to warm: Dimming makes the light warmer (more yellow). The more you dim, the warmer the colour.
5. RGB: You can set the light to almost any colour. From red to blue, you fill it in completely as you wish.
By choosing your preferred light colour options, you are one step closer to the right light product.

The number of lumens (lm) is the light output of a light source. The higher the number of lumens, the more light the light source emits. The wattage and the number of lumens are not connected to each other. An LED lamp with a low wattage can have a higher number of lumens than a conventional lamp with a high wattage.
|
Luminous Flux (Lumen) | 1400 |
|
i
The Luminous Efficacy (lm/W) indicates how efficiently a light source uses energy. We divide the number of lumens by the wattage. The higher the number, the more efficient a product is in terms of energy consumption. LED lighting has a considerably higher lumen/Watt ratio than conventional lighting.
|
Lumen per watt | 107.7 |
| Optical Cover | PC (Polycarbonate) | |
|
i
The power factor indicates how efficiently a luminaire uses electricity. The rule is: the higher the power factor, the more efficient the power consumption. A product with a high power factor (0.85 - 0.95) is also the safest. This is because the amount of unnecessary power consumption (blind current) is very limited.

Power factor | >0.90 |

Are you specifically looking for an (LED) fixture that you can install on the ceiling, wall or floor? With this filter, you can easily select your preferred type of mounting. Please note that certain fixtures can be mounted in multiple ways using the installation materials supplied (e.g. a LED bulkhead). Mounting is also possible using individually purchasable fixture accessories, such as a frame or suspension kit for a LED panel. |

The IP value indicates the degree of protection against the ingress of moisture and dust. The 1st digit (0 = not protected until 6 = completely dustproof) indicates the protection against dust. The 2nd digit (0 = not protected until 8 = protected against immersion) indicates the protection against water. Products with an IP44 rating are splashproof and products with an IP65 rating or higher are (completely) dustproof and waterproof. |
IP-Rating | IP66 |

The impact protection value (IK) stands for impact resistance and protection against vandalism. This is expressed in combination with 2 digits (IK00 - IK10). Products with IK00 are not protected against resistance. Products with IK10 offer resistance to shocks of 20 Joule and are also vandal-proof. |

The colour of the fixture can play a major role in the interior design of a room. You can opt for a neutral white design or a darker colour, such as black or silver, to make the light source stand out or even turn it into a decorative feature on its own.

Perfectly tunable ceiling light
Not sure what colour of light is most suitable in a room. Because of several activities taking place in there or, depending on the season, only a certain amount of natural daylight enters the room? At Lampdirect, we have a smart solution: the Noxion LED Bulkhead Pro. This ceiling fixture can easily switch between the light colours very warm white (2700K), warm white (3000K) and cool white (4000K). This means that you are always provided with both atmospheric lighting and lighting with a fresh look, making the luminaire suitable for general areas (reception halls, corridors, waiting rooms and such), relaxation areas and work environments.
Benefit from a high light output for a long time
This Noxion fixture has a Lumen / Watt ratio of 109, which means that the light source has a high light output. Depending on the colour temperature you have set at the time, this light output varies between 1250 and 1400 Lumen. So you have enough light for every activity that takes place in the room. Handy, right? Moreover, you will benefit from this high light output for 50,000 hours, which means that you will not have to spend money on replacement and maintenance until the lifespan has passed.
Solid waterproof luminaire
You don't have to worry about moisture, dust and shocks with this ceiling fixture. The Noxion LED bulkhead has an IP66 housing with IK10 protection. This means that the light source is completely dust and waterproof and that it can withstand powerful shocks (vandalism-proof). Therefore, the bulkhead can be used indoors without any problems, but also outdoors. Looking for another fixture than a ceiling light? Here you can view all waterproof LED luminaires.
Advantages of LED
This Noxion fixture consumes 13W and replaces two times 18W; the light source is 64% more economical than a conventional ceiling light. Moreover, LED does not contain any harmful substances that end up in the environment. These are also the reasons why this LED bulkhead has energy efficiency class A. If you switch to LED, you will earn back your investment in no time. You pay less energy costs and, as mentioned earlier, you have a fixture that lasts many times longer. That is sustainable lighting for you!
