The technology indicates the operating base of a light source. The most well-known and energy-efficient example is LED. Other techniques include Halogen, gas discharge, TL (fluorescent) and the light bulb.

This indicates which wattage of your old/conventional lighting is replaced by this LED product.
|
Replaces (Watt) | 58 |
i
The wattage indicates how much energy a light source consumes. With LED lighting, the wattage is considerably lower than with conventional lighting. LED lamps with a higher wattage generally also have a higher light intensity (number of lumens).
|
Wattage | 24 |
i
When you dim lights, the full power does not have to be used. You therefore save extra on energy costs. Dimmable lamps can also be used to create an extra cosy atmosphere. Keep in mind that you need a LED dimmer to dim LED lights.

The cap/base of a bulb is the part that connects it to the socket in the fixture. In the UK, B22 (Bayonet) caps/bases are still the most popular, although E27 (Edison screw) caps/bases are becoming increasingly popular. GU10 is the most common cap/base for spotlights. Check which cap/base you need carefully as many other types are also available.

Colour temperature (Kelvin) | 3000K - Warm White |
i
The colour code is a combination of colour rendering (CRI) and light colour (Kelvin). The first number indicates the colour rendering (1 = very poor colour rendering, 9 = maximum colour fastness). The second and third number contains the light colour. Example: the colour code 830 consists of good colour rendering (8) and warm white light (3000K).
|
Colour Code | 830 Warm White |
i
Colour rendering is also known as Colour Rendering Index (CRI) and indicates the extent to which a light source reproduces colours, compared to the actual colours in daylight. Products with a good (80-89 Ra) or excellent (90-99 Ra) colour rendering show minimal deviations in the colour spectrum.
|
Colour Rendering (Ra) | 80-89 |
i
The number of lumens (lm) is the light output of a light source. The higher the number of lumens, the more light the light source emits. The wattage and the number of lumens are not connected to each other. An LED lamp with a low wattage can have a higher number of lumens than a conventional lamp with a high wattage.
|
Luminous Flux (Lumen) | 3600 |
i
The Luminous Efficacy (lm/W) indicates how efficiently a light source uses energy. We divide the number of lumens by the wattage. The higher the number, the more efficient a product is in terms of energy consumption. LED lighting has a considerably higher lumen/Watt ratio than conventional lighting.
|
Lumen per watt | 150 |
Type of sensor | No Sensor | |

This filter allows you to refine your search by selecting specific types of light sources. Choose from options such as LED bulbs, LED tubes, or LED spots to find the perfect lighting solution for your needs.

You need a LED starter if the fluorescent lighting in your current fixture also contains a starter. In that case, you have a fixture with a conventional ballast (EM). A LED starter replaces your current starter and ensures that a LED tube works.
|
LED Starter included | Yes |
---|---|---|
Requires Ballast | No | |
i
A ballast can be seen as an energy regulator that switches on the lighting. Is there a starter in the fixture? Then this is a conventional ballast (EM). Fixtures with an electronic ballast (HF) don't have a starter. A LED driver can be compared to an electronic ballast and only works with LED lighting.

The most common lengths for T8 LED Tubes are 60cm, 90cm, 120cm and 150cm. For T5 LED Tubes this concerns 55cm, 85cm, 115cm and 145cm. Switching to LED? Then always check the length of your current fluorescent lighting. Do you want to know more? Then read our blog!

Suitable for fixtures with conventional ballast or mains
This Noxion Avant LED Tube T8 Extreme UO (EM/Direct) is 150-cm long and suitable for fixtures that have a conventional ballast. It even comes with the starter you need. Alternatively, the tube can be connected directly to the mains and, for this, the ballast needs to be removed which saves even more energy.
Energy savings of at least 58%
This Noxion LED tube uses just 24 watts of power to replace a fluorescent tube that uses 58 watts, yet it still manages to produce a whopping 3600 lumens! That means energy savings of at least 58%! Even more energy can be saved by connecting the tube directly to the mains and removing the ballast.
Lifespan of 50,000 hours
With a lifespan of 50,000 hours the Noxion Avant T8 Extreme UO LED tube will provide top-quality lighting for around 17 years if it's on for 8 hours a day!
All-in warranty of 5 years
The combination of excellent energy efficiency and a long lifespan means great savings in energy and maintenance costs. For extra peace of mind, this Noxion LED tube is also covered by an all-in warranty of 5 years.
Beam angle of 180°
Fluorescent tubes distribute light over 360º which means light is also directed upwards where it's not needed. This LED tube, on the other hand, has a beam angle of 180º. This means light is only directed downwards and to the sides where it's needed most. The tube itself is made of nano plastic and this material helps to soften the light, spread it more evenly and reduce glare too.
Warm white - 3000K
This LED tube has a colour temperature of 3000K and emits a warm white light. That makes it perfect for lighting spaces like hallways and stairways.
If you're looking for lighting products that offer excellent value for money, Noxion is a brand that's second to none!
