IP waarde / buitengebruik
Ben je specifiek op zoek naar een LED wandlamp die je buiten kunt gebruiken? Kijk dan eerst of de IP waarde van het armatuur dat je wil kopen de juiste IP waarde heeft. Hoe dat zit? LED wandlampen met een IP44 waarde (spatwaterdicht) of hoger kun je buiten ophangen. Wil je een LED wandarmatuur ergens in de buitenlucht hangen en waar direct neerslag op het armatuur valt? Kies dan voor een LED wandlamp met een IP65 waarde (spat- en waterdicht) of hoger. Ook speelt de IK waarde een rol bij buitenverlichting. Dit is de mate waarin een armatuur bestand is tegen schokken en vandalisme.

Ruimte en kleurtemperatuur
Ook goed om je te vertellen is dat de ruimte waar de LED wandlamp komt te hangen en de kleurtemperatuur een belangrijke combinatie zijn. Sommige kleurtemperaturen zijn immers niet geschikt voor iedere situatie.
