Manufacturer Name | E PRO UPDOWN S 10W 840 IP55 DG | |
Average Lifetime (h) | 50000 |
Technology | LED Integrated |
i
The technology indicates the operating base of a light source. The most well-known and energy-efficient example is LED. Other techniques include Halogen, gas discharge, TL (fluorescent) and the light bulb.
|
---|---|---|
Voltage (V) | 220-240 |
i
Lighting with a voltage of 220-240 Volt can be connected directly to the mains. Lighting with a different mains voltage (12 Volt and 24 Volt) requires an (electronic) transformer.
|
Wattage | 10 |
i
The wattage indicates how much energy a light source consumes. With LED lighting, the wattage is considerably lower than with conventional lighting. LED lamps with a higher wattage generally also have a higher light intensity (number of lumens).
|
Dimmable | Not Dimmable |
i
When you dim lights, the full power does not have to be used. You therefore save extra on energy costs. Dimmable lamps can also be used to create an extra cosy atmosphere. Keep in mind that you need a LED dimmer to dim LED lights.
|
Including bulb | Yes | |
Amount of bulbs required | 1 | |
Colour temperature (Kelvin) | 4000K - Cool White |
i
|
Colour Code | 840 Cool White |
i
The colour code is a combination of colour rendering (CRI) and light colour (Kelvin). The first number indicates the colour rendering (1 = very poor colour rendering, 9 = maximum colour fastness). The second and third number contains the light colour. Example: the colour code 830 consists of good colour rendering (8) and warm white light (3000K).
|
Colour Rendering (Ra) | 80-89 |
i
Colour rendering is also known as Colour Rendering Index (CRI) and indicates the extent to which a light source reproduces colours, compared to the actual colours in daylight. Products with a good (80-89 Ra) or excellent (90-99 Ra) colour rendering show minimal deviations in the colour spectrum.
|
Luminous Flux (Lumen) | 1000 |
i
The number of lumens (lm) is the light output of a light source. The higher the number of lumens, the more light the light source emits. The wattage and the number of lumens are not connected to each other. An LED lamp with a low wattage can have a higher number of lumens than a conventional lamp with a high wattage.
|
Lumen per watt | 100 |
i
The Luminous Efficacy (lm/W) indicates how efficiently a light source uses energy. We divide the number of lumens by the wattage. The higher the number, the more efficient a product is in terms of energy consumption. LED lighting has a considerably higher lumen/Watt ratio than conventional lighting.
|
Power factor | >0.90 |
i
The power factor indicates how efficiently a luminaire uses electricity. The rule is: the higher the power factor, the more efficient the power consumption. A product with a high power factor (0.85 - 0.95) is also the safest. This is because the amount of unnecessary power consumption (blind current) is very limited.
|
Mounting Method | Surface | |
Optical Cover | PC (Polycarbonate) | |
Emergency Lighting | No |
i
Lighting with a built-in emergency lighting unit (battery) continues to burn for a certain time if the power fails.

Product Type Category | LED Decorative Lighting |

This filter allows you to refine your search by selecting specific types of light sources. Choose from options such as LED bulbs, LED tubes, or LED spots to find the perfect lighting solution for your needs.
|
Fixture Connection | Screw connector, 3-pole | |
---|---|---|
IP-Rating | IP55 |
i
The IP value indicates the degree of protection against the ingress of moisture and dust. The 1st digit (0 = not protected until 6 = completely dustproof) indicates the protection against dust. The 2nd digit (0 = not protected until 8 = protected against immersion) indicates the protection against water. Products with an IP44 rating are splashproof and products with an IP65 rating or higher are (completely) dustproof and waterproof.
|
Impact Protection (IK) | IK03 - 0.35 joule |
i
The impact protection value (IK) stands for impact resistance and protection against vandalism. This is expressed in combination with 2 digits (IK00 - IK10). Products with IK00 are not protected against resistance. Products with IK10 offer resistance to shocks of 20 Joule and are also vandal-proof.
|
Operating Temperature | -20 to +40 | |
Colour of the Fixture | Dark Grey | |
Housing | PC (Polycarbonate) | |
Colour of material | Dark Grey |
Length (mm) | 87 |
i
It may happen that the length of this product differs from your old lighting fixture. As a result, the product does not fit in your current fixture or in the relevant place.
|

Width (mm) | 55 | |
Height (mm) | 180 |
Sensor | With Sensor | |

Sensor Included | Yes |
i
Lighting with a sensor or twilight switch only lights up when it receives a certain signal. This reduces energy costs. The (built-in) sensors react to darkness and/or movement.

Energy-efficient LED surface-mounted luminaire
The Ledvance Endura Pro Updown is a handy wall-mounted luminaire that is suitable for outdoors, on building façades and in colonnades and galleries. In addition, this 10W light source is extremely energy-efficient thanks to the used LED technology and its lifespan of 50,000 hours. This converts to more than 8 years with a daily use of 10 hours! So you won't have costs on replacement and maintenance for years to come. The dark grey design gives this wall light a prominent look, but the ordinary colour allows the luminaire to be used in any environment. Prefer a white housing? Take a look at the LEDvance Endura Pro Updown White.
Daylight- and motion sensor in one
The advantage of this LEDvance LED wall light is that you can use a smart sensor that detects both movement and a lack of daylight. You can determine yourself to what extent you will use the daylight- and motion sensor. There are four possible modes:
- The light burns continuously with a light output of 1000 Lumen.
- The fixture detects movement and then burns at full brightness.
- The light source lights up completely as soon as insufficient daylight is detected.
- The wall fixture is on stand-by.

Fresh cool white light (4000K)
Do you want to give a fresh look to a room or a building? Then 4000K lighting is the right fit. This cool white light has a fresh appearance without being too chilly. Therefore, it is the perfect light colour for corridors and other rooms with little natural daylight, but also for illuminating an outdoor area with bright light. Moreover, this light source has a high light output. This light is spread upwards and downwards in a 50° beam angle, which is also known as a wide angle beam. This means that the LEDvance Endura Pro Updown efficiently illuminates a room or surface.
Protected against powerful water jets
The IP value of a luminaire tells you something about its protection against dust and water. This light source has IP55, which means that it is protected against dust and powerful jets of water. Therefore, you can use the LEDvance Endura in indoor spaces, but also outdoors or under canopies.
