The technology indicates the operating base of a light source. The most well-known and energy-efficient example is LED. Other techniques include Halogen, gas discharge, TL (fluorescent) and the light bulb.
|
Technology | LED Integrated |
---|---|---|
i
Lighting with a voltage of 220-240 Volt can be connected directly to the mains. Lighting with a different mains voltage (12 Volt and 24 Volt) requires an (electronic) transformer.
|
Voltage (V) | 220-240 |
i
The wattage indicates how much energy a light source consumes. With LED lighting, the wattage is considerably lower than with conventional lighting. LED lamps with a higher wattage generally also have a higher light intensity (number of lumens).
|
Wattage | 4.9 |
i
When you dim lights, the full power does not have to be used. You therefore save extra on energy costs. Dimmable lamps can also be used to create an extra cosy atmosphere. Keep in mind that you need a LED dimmer to dim LED lights.

Colour temperature (Kelvin) | 3000K - Warm White |
i
The colour code is a combination of colour rendering (CRI) and light colour (Kelvin). The first number indicates the colour rendering (1 = very poor colour rendering, 9 = maximum colour fastness). The second and third number contains the light colour. Example: the colour code 830 consists of good colour rendering (8) and warm white light (3000K).
|
Colour Code | 830 Warm White |
i
Colour rendering is also known as Colour Rendering Index (CRI) and indicates the extent to which a light source reproduces colours, compared to the actual colours in daylight. Products with a good (80-89 Ra) or excellent (90-99 Ra) colour rendering show minimal deviations in the colour spectrum.
|
Colour Rendering (Ra) | 80-89 |
i
The number of lumens (lm) is the light output of a light source. The higher the number of lumens, the more light the light source emits. The wattage and the number of lumens are not connected to each other. An LED lamp with a low wattage can have a higher number of lumens than a conventional lamp with a high wattage.
|
Luminous Flux (Lumen) | 480 |
i
The Luminous Efficacy (lm/W) indicates how efficiently a light source uses energy. We divide the number of lumens by the wattage. The higher the number, the more efficient a product is in terms of energy consumption. LED lighting has a considerably higher lumen/Watt ratio than conventional lighting.
|
Lumen per watt | 98 |
i
The power factor indicates how efficiently a luminaire uses electricity. The rule is: the higher the power factor, the more efficient the power consumption. A product with a high power factor (0.85 - 0.95) is also the safest. This is because the amount of unnecessary power consumption (blind current) is very limited.
|
Power factor | >0.50 |

The IP value indicates the degree of protection against the ingress of moisture and dust. The 1st digit (0 = not protected until 6 = completely dustproof) indicates the protection against dust. The 2nd digit (0 = not protected until 8 = protected against immersion) indicates the protection against water. Products with an IP44 rating are splashproof and products with an IP65 rating or higher are (completely) dustproof and waterproof.
|
IP-Rating | IP65 |
i
The impact protection value (IK) stands for impact resistance and protection against vandalism. This is expressed in combination with 2 digits (IK00 - IK10). Products with IK00 are not protected against resistance. Products with IK10 offer resistance to shocks of 20 Joule and are also vandal-proof.
|
Impact Protection (IK) | IK02 - 0.20 joule |
Colour of the Fixture | Black |

Integrated sensor
The D'Lite LED wall light Elingen comes with an integrated sensor. This has a detection distance of 90 degrees and 3 metres. When the sensor reacts, the light illuminates for 30 seconds. When the sensor is on, the light has <50 lux; when the sensor is off, it has >200 lux.
Service life: up to 30,000 hours
On average, you can enjoy this LED wall light from D'Lite for 30,000 hours. To give you a better idea of this value in practice, let's assume you use your lighting for around 60 hours a week. This means that the 30,000 hours of service life are spread over a period of around 10 years. No maintenance is required during this time. This not only saves time, but also costs.
Colour temperature: 3,000 Kelvin - warm white
The LED wall light has a colour temperature of 3,000 Kelvin. The light is inviting and creates a cosy atmosphere. As this model is a so-called up & downlight, the light is emitted both upwards and downwards, creating a particularly beautiful lighting mood.
Colour rendering level: 80-89 Ra (good colour rendering)
The Colour Rendering Index indicates the colour rendering level. The higher the RA value, the more natural the colours appear under the light of the product. With a CRI value of 80-89 Ra, this product has a high Colour Rendering Index and good colour rendering.
Protection class: IP65
The IP class indicates the protection level of the luminaire against foreign bodies and contact (first digit) and against water (second digit). The higher the numbers, the more robust and water-repellent the luminaire is. The LED wall light from D'Lite has protection class IP65. This means that the product is dustproof and protected against water jets from any angle.
