Which lighting in the conservatory?

We highly recommend LEDs for lighting your conservatory. These have numerous advantages over conventional lighting (incandescent bulbs, halogens and fluorescent tubes). These include, for example, a longer service life, a shorter amortization period and no flickering or flickering. LED lights and light sources also consume considerably less energy. So you can put your conservatory in the right light in an energy-efficient way.

Basic and accent lighting in the conservatory

The basic lighting serves to illuminate your conservatory, even when natural daylight is not available. Suitable products include bulkheads, pendant lights and recessed spotlights. Accent lighting, for example LED strips attached to furniture, provides additional lighting.

Lighting in the conservatory with glass ceiling

Are you extending your patio cover into a conservatory? Then you usually have a glass roof and are somewhat more limited in your choice of lighting, as no lamps can be installed on the ceiling. In this case, we recommend table or floor lamps. These products do not need to be installed and provide light via a mains plug. They are also particularly flexible to use. If your conservatory only has a glass ceiling but at least one solid wall (not made of glass), you can of course also use a wall light on this.

Smart lighting for your conservatory

Whether accent or general lighting: with Smart Lighting, you can create a modern and versatile lighting concept for your conservatory. Intelligent LED lamps can be controlled via Wi-Fi using an app or by voice command. Not only can you switch the light on and off, but depending on the product, you can also individually select the color temperature and light color to suit the mood or activity in the conservatory. Below you will find a selection of LED lights and lamps with smart lighting function.

Outdoor lighting as an additional light source

Does your conservatory have glass walls? Great! Then you not only have an unobstructed view of your garden - you can also use outdoor lighting as additional light sources. As indoors, we naturally recommend LEDs. Bollard lights are particularly suitable in this case. The light pillars are a chic design object in your garden and let light into your conservatory at the same time. When choosing a product, we recommend bollard lights with a warm white color temperature.

Tips from our lighting experts:

Color temperature: Warm white light (2,700-3,000 Kelvin) creates a cosy atmosphere, while cooler light (4,000 Kelvin and above) provides a more vibrant environment.

Protection classes: As the conservatory is a cross between an indoor and outdoor area, we recommend products with min. IP44.

Style: Choose lights that match the style of your conservatory. Modern, classic or rustic - there is a large selection in our online store.

Additional functions: Emergency modules or sensors do not necessarily have to be present in conservatory lighting. However, we recommend products with a dimming function. This allows the light intensity to be adjusted according to requirements and mood.
